Leia had high fever!

On Sunday evening, we brought Leia for her 1st pneumococcal jab. She was fine on Monday. On Tuesday midnight, Aunt called and told us she's running high fever, so we brought her to NUH A&E children department. Her entry temperature was 38.9 degree and it went up to 39.9 degree when the nurse checked again. While waiting to see the doctor, Leia was given some medicine to drink to lower her temperature. She was so sleepy, tired and cried big time when doctor was checking on her. The nurse put a urine bag for her to collect urine for testing and poor Leia had to go through blood test as well. What annoyed us was that after pricking her little finger, the nurse slowly squeeze out her blood, 1 drop after another in slow motion. She was crying in fear and pain, making 3 of us (Daddy, Mummy & Marisa) so upset. After 4 hours in the hospital, doctor said her blood test is fine. She's not having bacterial infection, more like a viral infection, which means that she could have catch some virus from the surrounding air. Her urine was spilled out, still they did the urine test and told us that it may be contaminated. I had to bring her urine to the hospital the next day for a re-test and fortunately, she's cleared from urinal tract infection. While Leia was slowly recovering, she started having heat rash. It's really heartpain when I see the rashes.
